Job summary

Building Equity Management LLC is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a diverse portfolio of multifamily and mixed-use properties located throughout New York City.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience, a strong understanding of NYC rent regulations, and a hands-on approach to property management, including direct interactions with tenants and contractors.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $115,000, year-end bonus, and comprehensive benefits, including health insurance and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of experience as a lead Property Manager overseeing NYC multifamily and mixed-use buildings.
• Strong knowledge of rent regulation and NYC agency requirements (DOB, DEP, FDNY, HPD).
• Experience supervising building staff and outside contractors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of multifamily and mixed-use properties throughout New York City.
• Discuss building systems, maintenance operations, and ongoing construction projects with stakeholders.
• Split time between the office and field operations.
