TAIT, a leader in live events and experiential design, seeks Freelance Production Assistants in the New York City area for upcoming projects. Local residents only; this is not a full-time role.

You'll support the production office, manage sign-ins, coordinate meals, assist with furniture placement, and provide general admin help. A bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years in live events is preferred; strong communications, organization, and MS Office/Google Drive skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1–2 years of experience in live events, entertainment, theater, touring concerts, or production.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, accuracy, and responsiveness.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, plus Google Drive; comfortable using macOS or Windows.
• Ability to identify efficient approaches and work independently or collaboratively.
• Discretion, diplomacy, confidentiality, and sound judgment in high-pressure environments.

Responsabilités

• Set up and maintain the production office and restock production supplies.
• Inventory rentals, purchases, and onsite items.
• Manage radio and staff sign-in/sign-out processes.
• Provide administrative support, including printing, copying,receipt tracking, and credit card use as directed.
• Run production errands and coordinate meal orders for key personnel.
• Assist guests with questions and directions.
• Assistance with furniture assembly and placement (tables, chairs, storage shelves, etc).
• Support additional production needs as assigned; standing and moving for extended periods.
