Job summary

SEYA is building the connection layer for meeting in real life in NYC cafes and events. We’re seeking a part-time NYC Field Lead to engage future members, nurture cafe partnerships, and host small gatherings while helping run our closed beta.

You’ll receive weekly mentoring, clear priorities, and room to test new ideas during a 90-day trial, with potential for longer-term growth as the community forms.

Qualifications

• Based in NYC and able to be out in the city.
• Have hosted events or activities before.
• Strong communication and relationship skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Meet and interview future members, including the Founding Circle.
• Find great cafés and build relationships with owners/managers.
• Host small gatherings and manage details from greeting to coffee.
• Reach out to people, follow up, and track relationships and next steps.
• Help members get set up in the app and book their first Session.
• Support in-person testing for our closed beta and coordinate testers.
• Provide feedback to help improve the app and user experience.
