Job summary

Innovee Consulting LLC is seeking a Field Operations Specialist in New York, NY to manage IT Operations Rooms across multiple offices. The role involves installing and maintaining UPS, PDUs, and network gear, while ensuring a clean, organized environment and accurate hardware inventory.

The successful candidate will work with ACS Infrastructure and NYC sites, handling hardware replacements, circuit cutovers, and vendor communications.

Qualifications

• 5+ years proven Field Operations experience in Information Technology.
• Experience managing MDF and IDF technology rooms.
• Working knowledge of IT infrastructure - Windows Servers, VMware, Cisco network gears, Wi-Fi, VoIP, on prem Datacenter, UPS, PDU, surveillance systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform in a high-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel between multiple NYC ACS sites.

Responsibilities

• Validate daily operations of equipment in IT Operations Rooms across offices.
• Install, connect and configure UPS and PDU for hardware.
• Maintain inventory of hardware installed in IT Operations Rooms.
• Coordinate with Vendors for equipment deliveries and replacements.
• Collaborate with Infrastructure groups to resolve hardware issues.
• Perform hardware replacement and verify RMS/UPS components.
• Rack and stack servers, switches, routers, appliances, APs.
• Commission UPS, PDU, environmental monitoring devices.
• Perform network patching and data circuit connections.
• Coordinate circuit cutovers with NYC OTI and ACS groups.
• Un-rack and decommission retired hardware per process.
