Job summary

Millennium is seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to own the daily operation of two New Jersey data centers and a New York office technology room. You will manage rack, cabling, hardware lifecycles, and perform proactive capacity checks in a 24x7 environment.

You will collaborate across global teams, support ITIL/ITSM processes, and drive automation and tooling enhancements across DCIM, monitoring, and CMDB platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data center or large-scale infrastructure environments
• Experience with racking, patching, and hardware installation/removal in multi-cabinet data centers
• CCNA-level networking knowledge; CCNA certification preferred
• Strong documentation and communication skills across global teams

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day operation of two NJ data centers and NY office tech rooms
• Perform racking, stacking, cabling, labeling and patching for reliable infrastructure
• Manage hardware lifecycle including installations, upgrades, moves, changes, decommissioning
• Coordinate hardware replacements and RMAs with vendors; conduct capacity checks
• Monitor infrastructure and environmental alerts; troubleshoot in 24x7 environment
• Follow ITIL/ITSM processes for incidents, requests and changes in ServiceNow
• Support network deployments including patching, VLANs, and basic L2/L3 troubleshooting
• Contribute to tooling, automation, and capacity platforms; improve runbooks and SOPs
• Maintain accurate rack, patching, asset and inventory records in ITAM systems
