Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Project Officer Associate in New York City to support the NYC School Construction Authority on-site team. You will report to senior project officers and assist with a broad range of construction management tasks in development stages.

Responsibilities include reviewing permit documents, supporting applicants, and coordinating with city agencies to ensure compliance and timely approvals. Travel across NYC may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from an accredited college or university.
• Ability to exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds and resources.
• Working knowledge of standard computer systems (Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Review documents for city-required building permits for completeness and accuracy.
• Support permit applicants in filing procedures with City agencies.
• Deliver documents to city agencies for data entry, review, or approval.
• Collaborate with Plan Examiners on City Building Code compliance.
• Help research building status from City records and support senior officers.
