Job summary

Eight Advisory in New York City is seeking an ambitious Manager to join our Transaction Advisory Services team. You will work with corporate clients and private equity firms on acquisition and disposal M&A processes.

You will lead financial due diligence, identify key drivers, manage engagements, prepare reports and presentations, and contribute to business development while collaborating with senior experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, business administration or similar.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant professional experience, including 2 years in Transaction Advisory/Financial Due Diligence in a Big 4 or equivalent.
• Ability to manage teams and projects under supervision of senior staff.
• Strong financial analytical skills and solid accounting knowledge.
• Ability to extract key messages from financial data and present a structured report.
• Identify key operational drivers, cash flow forecasting, and provide client value.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and appetite for challenging projects.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; strong team player.
• Willingness to work mainly from Midtown office (4-5 days/week).
• Fluency in English; proficient MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• CPA or CPA eligible preferred but not required.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial due diligence procedures for buy/sell transactions and flag issues.
• Identify business drivers and add value through analysis and deliverables.
• Manage day-to-day engagement activities and be primary client contact.
• Oversee preparation of reports and presentations; discuss findings with stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to team members and ensure quality of deliverables.
• Contribute to business development and thought leadership.
