Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an NX Developer to build automation and tooling for the Siemens NX CAD environment. You will write code (NXOpen API, Python, C++), own internal developer tools, and collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to accelerate modeling, drafting, and BOM generation.

Strong focus on end-user experience and enterprise-grade functionality. Required: 5+ years in CAD development, NX API proficiency, CAD admin experience, and team collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a CAD development role in engineering/manufacturing.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or related field.
• Proficiency with NX Open API in C/C++, Python, Java, or .NET.
• Hands-on NX CAD administration: templates, standards, libraries.
• Experience creating journaling scripts and automation toolkits.
• Strong CAD data management knowledge: naming, revision control, BOM.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain NX Open API customizations to automate tasks.
• Build NX CAD admin tools: templates, libraries, and check-mate rules.
• Create custom NX dialogs and toolbars for design teams.
• Develop journal-based automation scripts and NX Open apps.
• Collaborate on NX–Teamcenter integration in managed mode.
• Troubleshoot NX issues including deployment and end-user support.
