Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced NX Developer to lead development of NX Open automations and admin tools. You’ll write code in NXOpen API (C/C++, Python, .NET), own internal developer tools, and work with engineers who rely on them daily.

You’ll design and maintain NX CAD administration assets, integrate with Teamcenter, and deliver journaling scripts to speed modeling, drafting, and BOM tasks. This is a fast-paced, impactful role in Costa Mesa.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a CAD development role in fast-paced engineering.
• Degree in CS, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or related technical field.
• Proficiency in NX Open API development using C/C++, Python, Java, or .NET (C#/VB.NET).
• Hands-on experience with NX CAD administration including templates, drafting standards, part families, reuse libraries, and role-based configurations.
• Experience creating and maintaining NX journaling scripts and custom automation toolkits.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain NX Open API customizations (C/C++, Python, .NET) to automate design tasks.
• Build and manage NX CAD administrative tools including templates, libraries, and check-mate rules.
• Create custom NX dialogs, menus, and toolbars to streamline workflows for design teams.
• Develop journal-based automation scripts and NX Open applications to accelerate modeling and drafting.
• Collaborate with PLM engineers for NX–Teamcenter integration in managed mode.
• Troubleshoot NX technical issues including deployment, site configuration, and toolkit distribution.
