Position Summary:

• The Nutrition Utility Tech (Dishwasher) performs a variety of sanitation duties within the Food & Nutrition Department, with an emphasis on maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
• The Utility Technician’s responsibilities are divided into three areas of coverage: general kitchen sanitation, ware washing and dish room maintenance.
• Responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as but not limited to dishwashing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food supplies.

Shift: Part-time, Evening Shift (20 hrs per week), Weekend Work Required

Location: Howard County Medical Center, 5755 Cedar Lane, Columbia, MD 21044

Education/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required.
• Previous experience in a healthcare setting or food service is a plus.

Licensure/Certifications: ServSafe Certification preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum $16.45 per hour - Maximum $19.01 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
