Position Summary
- The Nutrition Utility Tech (Dishwasher) performs a variety of sanitation duties within the Food & Nutrition Department, with an emphasis on maintaining a clean and sanitary environment.
- The Utility Technician’s responsibilities are divided into three areas of coverage: general kitchen sanitation, ware washing and dish room maintenance.
- Responsible for performing various kitchen cleaning and storage activities such as but not limited to dishwashing, pot washing, general and equipment cleaning, storage and rotation of food supplies
Shift
Part-time, Day Shift (20 hrs per week)
Weekend Work Required
Location: Howard County Medical Center,

Education/ Experience
- High school diploma or equivalency preferred, but not required
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting or food service is a plus
Licensure/Certifications
ServSafe Certification preferred
Salary Range: Minimum 16.45 per hour - Maximum 19.01 per hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
