Job summary

Robbinsdale Area Schools is seeking a substitute nutrition services employee to support school meals. This part-time position offers three to five hours per day and pays $15.47 per hour.

Responsibilities include assisting in preparation and serving of quality meals, following planned menus and tested recipes, and ensuring cleanliness and safety of kitchen spaces. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a noisy environment is required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in food service desirable.

Duties and Skills
  • Operational knowledge of commercial food service equipment used in preparing quantity foods.
  • Knowledge of food preparation.
  • Knowledge of sanitation and safety requirements.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff and community.
  • Ability to perform job and communicate in a noisy environment.
  • Ability to lift or move up to 50 lbs. such as milk crates, frozen foods and canned foods.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience in food service desirable.
