Pay Rate:

$50,000 - $60,000 / year

Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the food service program at a site, ensuring high food quality, inventory management, food safety, and customer service.
  • Adhere to facility menus, regulations, and policies to provide quality dining services.
  • Lead and support the food service team to meet quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment using HCSG software.
  • Conduct staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions; perform roles as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, staff, and residents.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed, including PPE, cleaning solutions, and equipment reporting.
  • Follow infection control and sanitation procedures.
  • Maintain punctuality and timely task completion.
  • Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associates degree or higher in food service management or hospitality preferred.
  • Two years of experience in food production/service and supervision preferred.
  • Certified Dietary Manager (CDM) preferred.
  • Obtain Food Protection Manager (FPM) certification within 14 days.
  • Obtain Food Service Manager (FSM) and LTC-FSM certifications within 60 days.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Positive attitude and effective communication.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds; stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks and work around food and cleaning products.
  • Basic computer skills for record-keeping and reporting.
  • Residency within the service area required.
