Vytalogy Wellness, LLC in Chatsworth, CA is seeking a Formulator, R&D to lead technical product and process development for capsules, tablets, and powders. You will drive innovation, scale-up, and ensure quality across cross-functional teams including Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, and Operations.

The role requires hands-on formulation, lab testing, and familiarity with equipment such as encapsulators, tablet presses, blenders, coaters, granulators, and mills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Nutrition or related field with 5+ years in nutraceutical/pharma product development
• Master's degree with 0-2 years in nutraceutical/pharma product development
• Knowledge of product/process development, lab techniques, regulatory requirements, and basic sciences
• Experience formulating, scaling up and commercializing solid dose formulations with hands-on lab work
• Familiarity with formulas for tablets, capsules and powders and with SOPs, FDA regulations and cGMPs
• Ability to evaluate material properties and finished product properties in formulations
• Effective communication within cross-functional teams (manufacturing, operations, quality)
• Understanding of product lifecycle management and software tools

Responsabilités

• Own innovative and existing formulas from ideation to commercialization
• Develop prototype samples and plan scale-up batches for stability testing
• Ensure materials meet specified physical and chemical attributes
• Operate and maintain encapsulators, tablet presses, blenders, granulators, coaters, mills
• Document data from testing and evaluate results for completeness and correctness
• Collaborate with Marketing, Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing and other teams to achieve project goals
