Seneca Resources seeks an experienced Nutanix & VMware Infrastructure Engineer to design, migrate, and support enterprise virtualization environments in an on-site New York setting.

The candidate will focus on Nutanix AHV, VMware vSphere migrations, Windows and Linux server management, and infrastructure automation. Strong troubleshooting and cross-team collaboration are essential for ongoing operational reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure, systems engineering, or enterprise support experience.
• Hands-on Nutanix administration and engineering experience.
• Experience deploying and managing Nutanix clusters and AHV.
• Experience migrating VMware workloads to Nutanix AHV.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, administer, monitor, and troubleshoot Nutanix clusters and AHV environments.
• Plan and execute VMware vSphere-to-Nutanix AHV migrations following best practices.
• Assess VMware environments and develop migration plans addressing workloads and capacity.
• Design and support both VMware vSphere and Nutanix virtualization environments.
• Collaborate with networking and security teams to resolve complex infrastructure issues.
