PowerBack Rehabilitation in Delaware is seeking a Unit Manager/Director - RN to support the Director of Nursing, overseeing nursing and patient care on an assigned unit, ensuring outcomes align with our mission and standards. Lead a team, coordinate care with physicians and therapists, manage staffing and performance, and promote a collaborative, high-quality care environment for residents.

This role emphasizes compliance with state and federal regulations, budgeting, and minimizing overtime

Qualifications

• Must be graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsabilités

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Support the Director of Nursing with delivery of high quality care while achieving positive clinical outcomes, and patient/resident, family and employee satisfaction.
• Ensure that patient/resident care delivery is consistent with the mission, vision, values and company policies in accordance with accepted standards of practice, state and federal regulations and licensing requirements.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients on assigned nursing unit.
• Manage the human resources in assigned unit to include limiting use of overtime and agency personnel, recruiting and orientating staff, assessing the work performance of nursing staff, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary.
