Milford Center - DE is seeking an experienced Unit Manager/Director - RN to support the Director of Nursing on an assigned unit. You will lead nursing care delivery and coordinate operations to maintain high-quality care, patient and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities include guiding staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, collaborating with physicians and therapy teams, and managing HR activities within the unit to optimize performance and minimize overtime.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, guide and direct the overall operations, coordination and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit.
• Ensure patient/resident care delivery aligns with the organization's mission, values and standards.
• Collaborate with staff, physicians and other professionals to achieve positive patient outcomes.
• Manage human resources in the unit, including overtime reduction, recruitment, orientation, performance evaluation and disciplinary actions.
