Job summary

Lexington Medical Center is seeking a Nurse Technician for the PM shift (7p-7a) on 6th South Medical. This full-time role offers a $2,500 sign-on bonus and responsibilities including direct patient care under a licensed nurse.

You will assist with nutrition, transport, hygiene, mobility, and data collection, and document in the EMR. A high school diploma and 1 year of nurse tech experience with BLS within 90 days are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1 year of nurse tech experience required or substitutable by CNA/fundamentals of nursing.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Support patient activities including nutrition, transport, hygiene, mobility and data collection.
• Enter information into the electronic medical record and perform chart maintenance.
• Assist with admissions, discharge procedures and room setup.
