Lexington Medical Center in West Columbia, SC is seeking a nurse tech for weekend shifts (8th North Medical, Part Time, Day Shift: 7a-7p on Sat & Sun). The role provides direct patient care under a licensed nurse and supports activities of daily living, transport, and data collection.

Sign-On Bonus: 2,500.00, LexPlan weekend schedule with benefits eligibility. The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year of nurse tech experience, and BLS within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum Years of Experience: 1 Year of experience as a nurse tech.
• Substitutable Education & Experience: 1 Year of experience can be substituted for Certification as a Nursing Assistant or successful completion of fundamentals of nursing course.
• Required Certifications/Licensure: BLS required within the first 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under direction of a licensed nurse.
• Support patient activities including nutrition, transport, hygiene, mobility and data collection.
• Participate in patient care interventions and report changes in patient condition.
• Maintain safety and a comfortable environment per unit standards.
• Enter relevant information into the electronic medical record and support clerical tasks as needed.
