Plains Regional Medical Center is seeking a Nursing Tech II to perform patient care procedures under licensed staff direction. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, wound care, tube management, dressing changes, and bedside testing, with monitoring and documentation in PACIS/EPIC systems.

12-hour night shifts with 0.90 FTE; options for education reimbursement and benefits are highlighted; BLS is required at hire. This role supports unit operations and patient safety across the clinical team.

Competenze

• High school or equivalent plus specialized, short-term training in medical/surgical patient care or the delivery of special care.
• One to three years experience preferred; on-the-job training and competency verification included.
• Formal medical technician or military training preferred.
• BLS required at time of hire.

Mansioni

• Monitors patients and collects information for documentation; posts test results and transports patients.
• Documents all care provided in the patient record.
• Performs phlebotomy, wound care, dressing changes; prepares for surgery; inserts/removes tubes.
• Operates unit-specific patient monitoring systems.
• Assists with activities of daily living and patient hygiene as needed.
• Uses PACIS and EPIC systems for charting and documentation.
