Lexington Medical Center is seeking a nurse tech to join the nursing care team on the 7th Surgical East unit. The role provides direct patient care under supervision, supporting nutrition, mobility, hygiene, and daily living activities in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year of nurse tech experience, and BLS within 90 days. The position offers full-time day shift hours (7am–7pm) and a sign-on bonus of 2,500.00.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a nurse tech.
• Substitutable education/experience: 1 year can substitute for CNA certification or fundamentals of nursing course.
• BLS certification/licensure required within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Provides direct patient care under the direction of a licensed nurse.
• Supports patient activities including nutrition, transport, daily living, and data collection.
• Maintains patient safety and comfort, documents care activities, and helps with discharge preparations.
• Participates in administrative tasks such as chart entry, scheduling, and supplies management.
