Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a Nursing Degree and be an active RN licensed in the state.
• Current CPR certification is required.
• Continuing education/licensing must be maintained.
• Knowledge and experience with PCC is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty.
• Assist in directing day-to-day nursing functions in accordance with rules and guidelines.
• Develop, maintain, and update policies and procedures governing the Nursing Service department.
• Ensure nursing staff compliance with the Nursing Service Procedures Manual and report to the Director as needed.
• Participate in the development of discharge plans and coordinate with other departments to ensure continuity of care.
• Provide input in the planning of care plans, review charts, and monitor patient care quality.
