Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a Nursing Degree or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.
• Must hold a current, active nursing license in the state.
• Experience in long-term care and supervising nursing staff is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the day-to-day functions of nursing assistants and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
• Plan shifts, services, programs, and activities; supervise nursing staff and coordinate care.
• Maintain Nursing Service Procedures Manual and ensure adherence by staff.
• Participate in quality assurance and facility surveys as required.
• Oversee discharge planning, admissions, transfers, and documentation.
• Oversee charting, reports, evaluations, and records in resident care.
• Ensure medication administration processes and narcotic records are accurate.
• Provide leadership and training to nursing personnel on procedures and safety.
