Job summary

Chase City Health & Rehab Center in Chase City, VA is seeking an experienced Nursing Supervisor - RN to join our leadership team. The RN Supervisor coordinates licensed staff, oversees care quality, and ensures regulatory compliance while supporting education and staff development.

The role reports to the Assistant Director of Nursing and involves clinical rounds, interdisciplinary planning, and admissions coordination to maintain high standards of resident-centered care.

Qualifications

• Virginia RN license in good standing.
• Minimum two years in nursing leadership/long-term care, etc.
• Current CPR Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise licensed nurses, CNAs and other clinical staff.
• Liaise between nursing staff, physicians, pharmacies, labs and partners.
• Promote a collaborative, team-oriented environment and QAPI participation.
• Support staff development and in-service training.
• Direct resident care to ensure quality, safety and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct resident assessments and implement nursing interventions.
• Communicate changes in resident condition to care team.
• Complete chart audits and ensure timely documentation.
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, transfers as needed.
• Participate in rounds and care planning meetings.
