Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabiliation Joint venture with Select Medical in Temple, TX seeks a Nursing Supervisor – Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time role. The position oversees nursing staff, ensures quality patient care, and collaborates with leadership to meet clinical goals.

Requirements include a valid State RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and prior RN experience with supervisory duties. Sign-on bonus and enhanced pay rates are offered alongside comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.
• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• One or more years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.
• Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives.
• Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpret data from assessments/labs and telemetry.
• Transcribe and process medical orders accurately.
• Promote continuous quality improvement.
• Instruct and counsel patients and families.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• Certified ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.

Preferred qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• CRRN preferred
