Job summary

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital - Tucson, in partnership with Select Medical, seeks a Nursing Supervisor – Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time night shifts. Responsibilities include directing nursing staff, delivering competent patient care, and ensuring documentation in EPIC. Minimum RN license, BLS, and ACLS within 6 months.

Sign-on bonus of $15,000 accompanies a strong benefits package. Two or more years of RN experience and supervisory exposure are preferred. CRRN preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid State RN License required.
• BLS certification at hire.
• ACLS certification required within first 6 months of hire/promotion.

Responsibilities

• Direct assigned nursing personnel and serve as a resource person.
• Provide and oversee nursing care; implement hospital and department philosophy and objectives.
• Maintain approved standards of patient care; collaborate with relevant staff for continuity of care under CNO guidance.
• Ensure patient care goals are achieved per individual care plans.
• Perform timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
• Interpret assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry; ensure orders are transcribed correctly.
• Promote continuous quality improvement; instruct and counsel patients and families.

Responsibilities

You will direct assigned nursing personnel, serving as a resource person and consultant.Provide and oversee nursing care, implement hospital and departmental philosophy and objectives. Maintain approved standards of patient care, collaborate with appropriate persons for continuity of care under the guidance of the Chief Nursing Officer.

• Together we will help our patients achieve outlined goals and milestones on their individual patient care plan.
• Timely and accurate documentation using EPIC
• Interpreting assessment/diagnostic data including labs and telemetry.
• Ensuring medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
• Promoting continuous quality improvement.
• Instructing and counseling patients/families.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:

• Valid State RN License is required.
• BLS is required at hire.
• Certified ACLS required within first 6 months of hire/promotion into Nursing Supervisor position.

Preferred qualifications:

• Two or more years of experience as a Registered Nurse
• One or more years of experience in a managerial or supervisory capacity
• CRRN preferred
