Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Registered Nurse to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during the tour of duty. The role requires ensuring care quality in line with federal, state, and local standards and coordinating with the DON/ADON as applicable.

The RN will participate in policy development, maintain current nursing procedures, and oversee staff to ensure resident needs are met with high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day nursing activities during tour of duty.
• Direct nursing services in accordance with federal, state, and local standards and regulations.
• Develop, maintain, and update written policies and procedures for the nursing service department.
• Ensure Nursing Service Procedures Manual is current and staff comply with it.
• Collaborate with Director of Nursing and other leaders to coordinate resident care with other services.
• Review discharge plans and assist in updating them as required.
• Participate in the facility's quality assurance program and in facility surveys.
