Job summary

Option Care Health, Inc. is seeking a Nursing Supervisor licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice to lead home infusion patient care and oversee clinical nursing operations.

The role includes direct and indirect patient care, supervising staff, and ensuring regulatory compliance, with potential duties as alternate administrator in Medicare certified agencies. The position may require travel within the state and to other areas as needed, with emphasis on maintaining high standards

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with a license in the current state of practice.
• 1 year of nursing supervisory/charge experience or at least 3 years of relevant nursing experience with demonstrated progression.
• CPR certification required.
• Member of a state or national professional organization.

Responsibilities

• Competent in the clinical management of home infusion patients including patient management skills and the Nursing Process.
• Knowledgeable of documentation and billing requirements for home health/infusion care goods and services.
• Determines suitability of patients for home care.
• Supervises, monitors, and evaluates the quality and effectiveness of patient care.
• Acts as Administrator and/or Director of Nursing in the absence of a director or Manager of Nursing.
• Manages daily activities to ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance and monitors medical supply usage.
