Job summary

Acadia Healthcare in San Juan is seeking a Nursing Operations Supervisor to oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring adequate staffing and high-quality behavioral health care. The role focuses on compassion, professionalism, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

You will mentor staff, uphold patient safety, and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations while coordinating physician orders and documenting care.

Qualifications

• BSN degree from an accredited school is preferred.
• Active RN license in Puerto Rico is required.
• Over 1 year as an RN is strongly preferred.
• At least 1 year in psychiatric or recovery programs is preferred.
• Leadership experience as RN/charge RN is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily nursing operations and staffing adequacy.
• Manage census and acuity to allocate resources.
• Model customer service and prioritize patient safety.
• Ensure unit staffing, chart reviews, MARs, and logs are up to date.
• Mentor and coach staff; coordinate care with leadership.
• Coordinate physician orders and documentation; administer meds.
• Lead admissions/discharges and communicate changes to physicians.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
