Job summary

Acadia Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Supervisor to assist the DON/CNO in directing, planning and supervising nursing operations for assigned units. Lead interdisciplinary teams to meet residents' biopsychosocial and cultural needs with a focus on safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes leadership, clinical expertise, and ensuring high-quality care in a behavioral health setting. Strong management and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• BSN or higher strongly preferred
• Current RN license required by state
• Three years RN experience preferred
• Two years RN experience required
• One year charge RN or administrative experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Anticipates census changes and allocates nursing resources based on patient acuity.
• Models customer service expectations and urgency for patient safety.
• Accountable for standard of care; provides consultations and care delivery expertise.
• Serve as clinical and service resource to nursing staff.
• Coordinate safe, appropriate care между departments and disciplines.
• Review and evaluate work activities of nursing, technical, clerical staff.
• Recruitment, hiring and training of new staff.
• Develop educational programs and training for staff.
• Assist with policies and procedures for the facility.
• Prepare reports on programs, services and quality initiatives.
• Manage budgets and authorize expenditures.
• Provide direct patient care as needed.
