ALSM's The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a part-time RN Nursing Supervisor to oversee nursing staff on the 3rd shift. You will supervise day-to-day activities, ensure care plans align with physician orders, and maintain a safe, compassionate resident environment.

Qualified candidates hold PA RN license, LTC experience preferred, and must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Competitive rates up to $40/hour plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN program and a current PA license.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• Ability to supervise nursing staff and coordinate care.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day functions of nursing activities.

PART TIME – 3rd SHIFT

The Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, a skilled nursing and independent living community, is actively seeking candidates for part time RN/Nursing Supervisor positions. This position will supervise staffing for the provision of services to residents, assisting residents to maintain/attain their highest level of function in an environment of wellness, kindness, compassion, dignity, respect, and caring.

Our Nurse Management team works on the floor with our staff to provide the highest quality of resident care.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day functions of nursing activities.
• Assures that care is provided to residents in compliance and consultation with the residents’ physicians.
• Completes unit rounds and visits each resident at least daily.
• Participates in shift to shift reporting process.
• Participates in developing the residents’ plans of care and makes staff assignments to meet the residents’ needs.
• Communicates pertinent information, such as changes in residents’ plans of care, to the Director of Nursing on a daily basis.
• Documents assessments of skilled residents and changes in resident conditions in resident records and on the 24-hour report on a daily basis.
• Assess needs of newly admitted residents and initiates residents’ plans of care.
• Maintains supplies, equipment, and reference materials to support the care needs of the residents.
• Participates in data gathering and analysis for Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement process.
• Establishes a hospitable, safe environment to promote customer satisfaction.
• Reports all accidents/incidents and changes in a residents condition observed on shift.
• This is a supervisory position that reports to the Director of Nursing.
• The hours and days of work vary as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN program and a current PA license.
• Minimum of one year of experience in a long-term care setting preferred.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 lbs.
