Springfield Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking an RN Supervisor for a part-time night shift (11pm-7am) in Pennsylvania. This role leads nursing staff, ensures high-quality resident care, and coordinates with physicians and families. Active PA RN license and BLS CPR are required; 2+ years of nursing experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care to ensure residents receive safe, effective care.

• Monitor resident conditions and implement and document appropriate interventions.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans and facility policies.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families about changes in condition or care needs.
• Manage multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork and leadership.

• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and family members regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to all applicable nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.

Qualifications for RN Supervisor:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in the state of PA.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting required.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, residents, families, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and applicable laws, regulations, and standards in nursing care centers.
