Job summary

Lafayette Manor nursing home in Uniontown, PA, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse Supervisor (RN Supervisor) for the 1st shift (7 AM to 7 PM). You will lead a collaborative team and oversee daily resident care to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Compassionate approach to geriatric patient care.
• Preferred nursing experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
• Current and valid RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience in a healthcare environment.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, patient care standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Basic proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper medical management of each resident.
• Serve as liaison between physicians, hospitals, family members and other medical personnel to ensure resident plan of care is followed.
• RN must make daily resident visits to observe and evaluate the resident's status and to direct day-to-day nursing activities in accordance with current rules, regulations, and guidelines governing long-term care facilities.
• Supervise other nursing service personnel and ensure medication passes and scheduled treatments are being administered as ordered by the physician.
• RN must be able to think independently, supervise staff, and work as a team member for the good of the resident.
