Job summary

GRCC seeks a Nursing Student Success and Completion Coordinator to support nursing students, especially underrepresented populations, in academic progress and transfer completion.

The role emphasizes guidance, resources, and holistic development through collaboration with faculty and career partners. This temporary position starts Oct 1, 2026 and ends June 30, 2027, with a 40-hour week and OP3 compensation of $52,454 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; BSN highly preferred.
• Degree in Higher Education, School Counseling, Social Work, or related field preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to plan and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide assessment and interpretation of academic progression and develop success plans for students.
• Work with students individually to navigate barriers and develop plans for success.
• Track and follow up with referred students and ensure they meet minimum passing standards.
• Collaborate with nursing faculty and program director on opportunities for growth and development.
• Increase job readiness for students by building professional networks and career resources.
