Rowan College of South Jersey is seeking a part-time Nursing Success Coach to support at-risk nursing students in an 9-month, 16-20 hour/week role. You will mentor students, connect them with campus resources, and help create personalized completion plans to improve progression and graduation outcomes.

The role emphasizes data-informed interventions, collaboration with Student Services, and delivering targeted workshops while maintaining confidentiality and flexibility to meet student needs.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• NJ RN license required.
• Experience in health care/nursing education.
• Knowledge of student development and resources to promote student success.
• Experience mentoring.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient with MS Office; Excel/Word/Access.
• Experience with Ellucian Banner preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
• Able to work evenings and Saturdays.
• Strong communication with students, staff, faculty, and partners.
• Cultural competence and commitment to a student-centered environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develops a streamlined delivery service to assist nursing students toward degree completion.
• Provides direct service and information about programs, registration, and policies.
• Identifies barriers and develops action plans to focus on graduation.
• Provides individual counseling to create customized completion pathways.
• Analyzes HSRT data to inform interventions.
• Develops strategies based on assessment data to prepare students for success.
• Maintains a comprehensive database to track student success.
• Coordinates a mentor program pairing students with mentors.
• Coordinates semester-based student engagement activities.
• Collaborates with Student Services and Academic Services to meet enrollment goals.
• Delivers documentation and tracking of students in the database.
• Addresses student concerns and resolves issues.
• Mentors graduates through NCLEX preparation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
