Job summary

The organization is seeking an experienced scheduler/recruiting support specialist to manage the nursing department work schedule each month and arrange call-in replacements as needed.

You will source, screen, and schedule qualified candidates for nursing roles, coordinate with regional recruiting teams, and ensure a smooth candidate experience through the hiring process while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent related work experience.
• Effective verbal and written English communication skills.
• Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook.
• Highest level of professionalism with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to communicate at all levels of organization and work well within a team environment in support of company objectives.
• Customer service oriented with the ability to work well and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy, excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize.
• Problem solving skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, take initiative and make independent decisions.

Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing nursing department work schedules for each calendar month and find call-in replacements as needed.
• Maintain facility PPDs, budgets and work to control OT.
• Fill out and post daily pars as per regulations.
• Maintain inter department communication to effectively carry out duties of the job.
• Source, screen and schedule qualified candidates to meet the facility’s needs.
• Work closely with regional/internal recruiting teams to attract top talent.
• Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience through the hiring process.
• Daily monitoring of facilities applicant flow.
