The role involves collaborating with Nursing management to set schedules, tracking attendance, and coordinating coverage during planned and unplanned absences. It requires strong organizational and communication skills and a commitment to safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook/PowerPoint) required.
• Two years of healthcare experience to understand clinical workflows.
• Scheduling experience in a medical setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Works with Nursing management to establish staffing patterns and schedules for Nursing department personnel.
• Maintains staff attendance logs and ensures accuracy of records.
• Coordinates securing nursing staff to cover planned absences, leaves, and emergencies, may involve staffing agencies.
• Assists management with timesheets and payroll-related inquiries; investigates discrepancies.
• Coordinates PRN pool to meet coverage needs at all times.
• Communicates attendance issues to DON and HR as needed.
• May be required to work during inclement weather and staffing emergencies.
• Maintains safety standards and ensures infection prevention compliance.
• Maintains regular attendance and completes required trainings.
