Job summary

Unknown is seeking a Staffing Specialist to support applicant screening, onboarding coordination, recurring clinical scheduling, and administrative functions. Qualifications

• Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and support different operational areas as needed
• Attention to detail with strong follow-through
• Professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external facility partners
• Experience in healthcare staffing, scheduling, or administrative support preferred (but not required)
• Maintain confidentiality of employee, patient, and facility information in accordance with HIPAA and company policies
• Comfortable learning and navigating staffing, scheduling, and compliance systems
• Must be available to be placed on monthly “on-call” schedule

Responsibilities

• Screen and review applicant submissions to ensure minimum qualifications are met
• Coordinate and support staffing onboarding processes, including documentation collection, tracking compliance items, and assisting with pre-hire requirements
• Work closely with the Clinical Compliance Specialist to support compliance tracking, credentialing needs, and onboarding readiness
• Work closely with the Clinical Scheduler to assist with recurring scheduling needs, shift coordination, and coverage support as assigned
• Collaborate client partners to provide scheduling support, assist with provider placement, and ensure coverage needs are met
• Assist the Staffing Director with assigned projects, administrative tasks, and operational support as needed
• Maintain accurate and organized records related to applicants, onboarding status, scheduling activity, and facility communication
• Communicate professionally with internal team members, candidates, and facility contacts to support efficient workflow and timely follow-up
• Participate in the on-call rotation as assigned to support after-hours staffing needs, including scheduling issues, call-ins, and coverage requests.
• Escalate issues appropriately to leadership when needed during on-call coverage
• Other duties as assigned by management
