Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Centralized Staffing & Scheduling Coordinator at Lourdes Hospital to manage scheduling, staffing and timekeeping for designated work areas. You will create and edit schedules, forecast needs with nurse managers, and mobilize staff for last-minute coverage using the electronic staffing system.

The role requires strong communication with multiple stakeholders, 1 year of staffing software experience, and an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience with staffing & scheduling software.
• Education preferred in business or related field.
• Healthcare setting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates and edits schedules for nursing departments in the scheduling system.
• Prepares accurate daily/shift schedules with nurse managers.
• Approves/denies schedule requests based on skill mix and needs.
• Maintains daily unit/department schedules in the staffing system.
• Manages timecards and coordinates agency resources as needed.
