Job summary

Citadel Care Centers in Florida is seeking a Staffing Coordinator for Nursing Services to design and implement staffing patterns for professional and nonprofessional nursing staff.

You will collaborate with HR and the DON to schedule trainings, interpret policies, and secure staff for absences while maintaining accurate vacation, sick leave, and absence records to meet facility staffing needs.

Qualifications

• Must be strong in Excel and Word (proficient with spreadsheets, formulas, and document creation).
• Knowledge of AHCA Regulations required.
• Must possess sensitivity in understanding employees' needs while maintaining staffing balance.

Responsibilities

• Establishes staffing patterns and schedules for nurses and nursing assistants.
• Works with human resources to advise them of staffing needs, terminations, and other information necessary for the smooth flow of work regarding employees.
• Interprets human resource policies for nursing staff and participates in in-service training, works with the DON to schedule training classes.
• Assists in securing staff for absences, leaves, etc., adjusting schedules as required.
• Maintains records on vacations, sick leave, leaves of absence, holidays, excused and unexcused absences, and recommends appropriate action.
• Assists in administering the uniform policy for the facility.
