Job summary

PACS is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate nursing department staffing based on budget and census, aligning with facility directives. You will manage scheduling, maintain contact lists, and support HR processes such as interviewing and onboarding, ensuring timely and accurate records.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the DNS, facility administration, and interdepartmental teams to optimize coverage, maintain compliance, and support smooth operations within the nursing

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a current listing of all resident care employee phone numbers.
• Update department managers’ phone numbers posted in the business office.
• Prepare and post nursing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
• Assist in interviewing CNAs when requested.
• Ensure that time cards and schedules are ready prior to orientation.
• Coordinate interviews and recruit staff as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee information.
