Job summary

MENTORHILLS is seeking a Staffing Coordinator to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing of the facility nursing department based on budget and census. The role involves coordinating interviews, orientation, and training, maintaining schedules, and reporting to the Director of Nursing Services.

Responsibilities include maintaining employee records, complying with policies, and attending committee meetings as required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public.
• Must be a supportive team member and able to work harmoniously with other personnel.

Responsibilities

• Staff nursing department staffing and scheduling to meet needs.
• Maintain daily attendance/tardy calendars and records; coordinate with DNS and HR on staffing.
• Verify licenses/certifications and maintain confidentiality of employee information.
• Assist with interviews, orientation, and training of nursing staff; ensure timely documentation.
• Attend committee meetings and implement recommendations as directed.
