Job summary

Montgomery College invites applications for a Full-time Nursing Simulation Coordinator in the Nursing Department. The role focuses on coordinating all simulation activities to develop standards across the nursing curriculum and promoting effective teaching using simulations.

Qualified candidates will have a Master’s in Nursing, RN licensure eligibility, and extensive experience in acute care nursing, teaching, and instructional design.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing and RN license eligibility.
• Five years of acute care medical-surgical nursing experience.
• Three years of teaching nursing theory, clinical, or campus lab settings.
• Three years of experience in instructional design.
• Experience in simulation pedagogy.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the simulation suite and develop standards for the nursing curriculum.
• Promote teaching strategies using simulations and provide faculty development.
• Manage simulation budget and track monthly updates.
• Collaborate with faculty to develop simulation scenarios and scripts.
• Evaluate and report data on student outcomes and simulation effectiveness.
• Orient new nursing and health science faculty, staff, and students.
