Job summary

Montgomery College seeks a Nursing Simulation Coordinator in the Nursing Department. The role is full-time, with a schedule of Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm, plus occasional evenings and weekends.

Telework is allowed one day per week, within approved states. The incumbent will oversee the simulation suite, develop scenarios, manage budgets, and support faculty in using simulations to enhance clinical education.

Qualifications

• Masters in Nursing required.
• Teaching experience in nursing theory, clinical, or campus lab settings.
• Experience in instructional design.
• Experience with simulation pedagogy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the nursing simulation suite and ensure a safe, effective learning environment.
• Develop and implement simulation scenarios and scripts to supplement clinical experiences.
• Coordinate faculty development and training on simulation use.
• Manage simulation budget and report monthly progress and outcomes.
• Collaborate with faculty to establish standards for simulation in the nursing program.
