Job summary

Montgomery College in Maryland is seeking a part-time Simulation and Lab Associate to help run nursing simulation sessions. You will set up rooms, manage supplies, and support students and faculty during labs.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, recording observations, providing feedback, hosting skill workshops, and assisting in the Skills Lab to guide students in evidence-based nursing practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Active RN license: Maryland or a compact state.
• Three years of nursing experience in acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Set up simulation rooms according to templates and checklists.
• Create and distribute Zoom links for virtual components.
• Participate in simulations as a voice actor or SP.
• Record observations of student performance and provide feedback to faculty.
• Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment (IV pumps, defibrillators, mannequins).
• Receive deliveries, stock supplies, maintain inventory, and prepare course materials.
