Job summary

Vista Ridge Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waco, TX is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor to lead the nursing services team and ensure high-quality resident care. You will work closely with the Director of Nursing to plan, organize and direct day-to-day activities within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Two (2) years experience as a supervisor in a nursing care facility.
• Six (6) months experience in rehabilitative and restorative nursing practices.
• Current unencumbered active license to practice as a RN or LVN in the state of Texas.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Nursing in planning and directing day-to-day nursing services.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures compliant with regulations.
• Monitor quality measures and participate in QAPI programs for nursing services.
• Coordinate with medical professionals and discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Schedule rounds and supervise staff to meet residents' physical, mental and psychosocial needs.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and infection control in nursing areas.
