Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse in good standing and licensed by the state.
• CPR Certification required.
• Completion of post-secondary education or equivalent reading/writing abilities.
• Ability to relate positively to residents and families and work cooperatively.
• Regular attendance is essential.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Willing to complete Infection Control Certification within 30 days of hire.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage nursing services programs and ensure quality of care and resident activity.
• Assist Director of Nursing in planning, budgeting, and record keeping.
• Oversee staff scheduling, training, and orientation.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company QA standards.
• Foster positive relations with regulators, families, and community.
• Participate in developing and implementing care plans for residents.
• Respond to on-call rotations and provide after-hours clinical support.
