Aufgaben

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the nursing service department and its programs
• Develop, maintain, and update written policies and procedures for daily nursing operations
• Perform administrative duties such as completing forms, reports, evaluations, and charting
• Determine staffing needs and advise on staffing levels per shift
• Ensure enrolled or graduated nursing assistants complete approved training programs
• Develop work assignments and schedule duty hours for nursing staff
• Make rounds to ensure nursing personnel perform assigned tasks
• Review complaints and grievances and administer fair disciplinary actions
• Participate in interviewing and admission decisions for residents
• Develop written care plans for each resident identifying problems, goals, and responsible services
• Prepare and plan the nursing service department's budget and submit it to the Administrator
• Schedule and participate in nursing service meetings
• Demonstrate passion for care through interactions with residents, families, and staff
• Perform additional duties as assigned
