You will hire and mentor nursing staff, develop care plans, and ensure documentation accuracy while maintaining regulatory compliance. This role emphasizes restorative care, collaboration with physicians, and resources management.

Qualifications

• Be a licensed nurse in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Strong leadership and management experience.
• Geriatric or long-term care nursing background.
• Restorative care philosophy with strong assessment and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of nursing home regulations and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Support floor staffing when needed.
• Oversee resident care including MDS, care planning, performance improvement, and infection control programs.
• Hire, train, evaluate, assign, and delegate nursing duties based on census and budget needs.
• Review and maintain up-to-date resident records.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing teams to design individualized care plans.
• Ensure timely access to equipment, supplies, and other care resources.
• Conduct assessments and implement infection control measures.
