Job summary

Volare Health LLC in Eugene, Oregon, is seeking a dependable Full-Time Scheduler to develop, implement, and monitor a scalable workforce management model for our nursing staff. The Scheduling Coordinator will create the four-week Master schedule and manage staffing adjustments within budget and census changes.

The role requires strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills, with duties including coordinating time off, supporting the Director of Nursing, and maintaining records

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of experience in staff scheduling (healthcare preferred).
• Superior verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
• Excellent leadership skills.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain schedules and all records pertaining to nursing staff schedules.
• Create the campus’ four-week Master set schedule and post schedule according to policy.
• Adjust staffing as needed based on budget, census fluctuations, call-offs, and leaves of absence.
• Schedule time off, vacations, sick time, etc., with approval of the Director of Nursing.
• May perform administrative duties for the Director of Nursing as requested.
• Maintain absenteeism, requests, schedules, and related records and inform the Director of Nursing.
• Ensure Resident Rights are maintained at all times.
